My best-friend and I started this company with the goal of creating on-demand, smart dog homes located outside of storefronts like Starbucks.
The dog homes (or Petly Pods) were going to be a safe and comfortable place for dogs to temporarily stay while their owner grabbed a cup of coffee, a bite to eat at a local spot, went shopping, or ran any other errand.
All in all, it didn't work out. We didn’t build something that people wanted.
However, I learned a ton and most importantly, I learned that when building something from scratch, the focus should be on solving a problem, making something people want, and talking to users, anything else is noise.
RIP Petly ⚰️
